Here's the Blood

In my last post, the link to a site I recommend did not show up. Sorry about that. Please copy and paste this link to your browser: www.herestheblood.com. Thank you, Maddie Unger

What could have been...

When you think about the harmful effects of abortion, you may think about the destroyed futures and lives tossed away as if they're useless. But have you ever thought about all the scientists, stars, innovators and performers that could have been if they had a chance to live? The government believes that such a life-and-death desicion of a human being's life should be placed in the hands of those who are unsure and wrongfully deceived by society's view of abortion. When, in reality, the right to take the lives of the unborn without care, shouldn't be given to anyone. Certainly not an impregnated teen or young woman who has no idea what to do. Abortion seems easy to them. They're too young to realize the impact of their decision on the unborn. They're told by Planned Parenthood that their baby "won't feel the pain" and that it's the right decision. It's not. Ending a human being's life is never the right decision. It's not in the best interest of the parent of the child nor the child itself. It's not "empowering women" or "helping women". After abortion, they face feelings of guilt and remorse. They can't change what happened. If they could go back, they would. They would tell themselves the truth that was not as obvious to their adolescent selves as it was to their adult self. Many would go back and change what happened. Honestly, look at this way: Planned Parenthood is the only clinic that supposed to provide "health care" that profits off their killings of 80, 000 unborn children per year. Imagine that. 80,000 that never got to experience life. 80,000 that was never given a chance. Planned Parenthood is also the only clinic I know that justifies murder in the name of women's rights. But what rights does the baby have? None, according to Planned Parenthood, because apparently they see the human being that lives in their patient's womb as "just a bundle of cells". If its a bundle of cells, why does it breathe and live just like a regular human? Why does it cry when it's born? Because its alive. Planned Parenthood will never know the truth that we know because they are deceived. They are deceived by themselves. Defund Planned Parenthood

There has been a lot of controversy over the subject of defunding Planned Parenthood. People have been discussing it, and, more importantly, politicians have been too. The question is: will the bill rally up enough support to be made law? Some point out the fact that if Planned Parenthood is to be defunded, that would spell trouble for women looking for basic healthcare. Yet, in her interview with Fox News, Lila Rose, president of Live Action, a pro life group, stated that she had found 800 other clinics that could provide the same basic healthcare (excluding abortions). So why are we wasting our taxpayer dollars on unneeded and morally wrong medical clinics and practices? Pro abortionists say that if Planned Parenthood is defunded, they could come up with the money on their own. After all, they say, some famous celebrities have appeared in ads for the "Stand With Planned Parenthood" campaign and might be willing to pitch in to support Planned Parenthood. Either by fundraising or by enlisting celebs for help, pro abortionists speculate that Planned Parenthood might be able to produce its own funds. Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood director says that "at the end of the day, (celebrities) will endorse them, but won't fund them". My take is that celebrities have a lot of money and enough press to go through with it, but it would take a lot of pro abortion celebrities to fund Planned Parenthood's clinics across the world. If we want to continue with our fight against Planned Parenthood, we have got to hit them where it hurts: their pocketbooks. Defund Planned Parenthood and they wil not thrive without our hard earned money. Indiana has already defunded their Planned Parenthood clinics, drawing much outcry from democrat and liberal politicians. If they can do it, so can we.

Abby Johnson: Fighting against Planned Parenthood

Abby Johnson was just a regular Planned Parenthood employee. She was in charge of the Planned Parenthood clinic in her state of Texas. Until now, she had never really thought about abortion. She says the things Planned Parenthood told her she "wanted to believe". Abby Johnson began volunteering for Planned Parenthood when their bright pink booth was at a convention. She says of her recruitment: "it sounded like such a good cause. You know, protecting women." But the lions den that Johnson was working in was just normal for her. Abortion was just for preventing pregnancy. Then, one day it all changed. Everything she knew came crashing down on her. She was asked to assist in an ultrasound-guided abortion. She was in charge of holding the probe on the patient's abdomen while the baby's picture was on the screen. When she looked at the screen, she saw what she didn't know was a human. She says, "I knew it wasn't human, but I just didn't know wha it was." Johnson saw the baby recoil and try to get away from the probe. Abby said it was as if the baby was fighting for its life. "It was scared of the abortion instrument," Johnson later said. When it was finally over, "Where there used to be life, it was just gone in a few seconds", explained Abby. After that, Abby knew she couldn't turn a blind eye to her job's circumstances and practices. She said she went into one of the closets and cried. She called her husband to talk to him about getting a new job. "I was going to retire with Planned Parenthood. You know what they call their retirement plans? 'Lifers'", says Johnson of her job. She only had two weeks left in her job and she was glad. From that moment on, Johnson became pro life. She now fights for the rights of the unborn and exposes Planned Parenthood's lies to the public. Abby Johnsob says that when Planned Parenthood found out that she was pro life, they took it to court and had a restraining order placed on her. Abby Johnson just laughs, knowing that she doesn't need to go back to Planned Parenthood to stop all the injustice happening. She protests with others outside the clinic she used to run. There is no doubt Abby Johnson is unstoppable. To find out more about Abby Johnson, visit her website www.abbyjohnson.org or read her book, Unplanned, which can be found in most bookstores.

March for Life

On the anniversary of "Roe v Wade", thousands gather in Washington, DC, to join other pro lifers for the "March for Life". This event, though it has a high rate of participants, has not gained any media coverage or exposure. I guess networks are afraid of what covering this event might do to their ratings.

How much do you know about your candidate of choice's stance on life?

The presidential race has started and whether you're ready or not, the top canidates have been chosen. Everyone wants a president who has the "right" views. Views that they themselves have. A candidate who is a pro lifer is especially important if you're like me. If you're confused or unsure about who believes what, this article is for you. Here is a quick rundown on the candidates beliefs on pro life. Newt Gingrich Gingrich signed a pledge to select only pro-life appointees for top jobs and to stop federal dollars going to abortion clinics. Gingrich is pro life. Mitt Romney Romney voices strong opposition to abortion, but has not yet signed the pro life pledge. Being conservative, I think it is safe to say that Mitt is mainly pro life. Ron Paul Ron Paul is very conservative and pro-life. He says he has never understood how an act of violence, killing a human being, is portrayed as a precious right. He supports overturning Roe V. Wade but believes that states should regulate abortions, which is portrayed as contradictory. Rick Santorum A genuine pro lifer, Santorum supports overturning Roe v. Wade. Don't just take my word for it. Google it, research it, find out more about where the canidates really are on the issue of abortion. Write them letters, ask them the tough questions. If they have a good chance of being president, you have the right to ask about it and get the truth straight from the source. Find a town hall meeting where one of these politicians will be present and speak up. Pick a candidate that will not only overturn Roe v. Wade, but make abortion illegal. Someone who is deeply pro life and really believes in what they're saying and is convicted instead of saying they are pro life just to earn votes. You have the right to influence our country.

A few words of encouragement

I just wanted to remind you all that even though it may be stormy, even though it seems like people don't care about your stance on life, keep on fighting. Never give up. Don't let them tell you what you should believe. It's your life. and you should stand up and keep fighting for those views until they realize that you're right and that you're on the right side. The side of life. Just know that it's right to believe in justice and equality. Just hold on to your truths. Fight for our generation.

Why life?

I am pro life because I care.
I am pro life because I believe in equal rights.
I an pro life because I am a defender of the weak.
I am pro life because I'm an advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves.
I am pro life because I love life.
